About

Antiquity

Antiquity is a strategy game published by Splotter Spellen, designed by Jeroen Doumen and Joris Wiersinga. This game takes place during the Middle-Age in Italy and puts you at the head of a city. Your goal is to develop, to find your matching Saint, to satisfy his or her need. If you are the first to fulfill one Saint's wishes, then you win. For once, there is no victory point race !

You can find more information on the publisher page, or on boardgamegeek.com (the rules for instance).

Wir sind das Volk !

Wir sind das Volk has been published by Histogame and designed by Peer Sylvester and Richard Sivel for the 25th anniversary of the fall of the Berlin wall . One player plays the role of the GDR trying to achieve a socialist domination whereas the other player is the FRG.

As Wir sind das Volk ! is not well suited for asynchronous play, it can be played real time.

Food Chain Magnate

Food Chain Magnate has been released in 2015 by Splotter Spellen and designed by Jeroen Doumen and Joris Wiersinga. As a player, you have to develop your fast-food chain by selling food and drinks, and by generating demand in the neighbourhood. But you are not alone of course, and the other players will do their best to keep the customers for themselves. Warning, because this game can be even more unforgiving than Antiquity.

The Great Zimbabwe

The third Splotter Spellen title implemented on this website, and also designed by Jeroen Doumen and Joris Wiersinga.
Raise and upgrade monuments in order to achieve victory. However, your goal is not really defined at setup, and the number of victory points to reach will depend on the assistance you use. Will you hire plenty of cratsmen, requiring to score of lot of victory points ? Of will you aim at a lower goal, and make good use of your opponents' craftsmen ?
